REDARC BCDC1250D — 50A dual-input DC-DC charger with MPPT solar

The REDARC BCDC1250D is a 12V, 50A in-vehicle DC-DC battery charger that keeps your auxiliary battery topped up from two sources at once — your vehicle's alternator while you drive, and solar when you're parked up. It's the backbone of a dependable dual-battery setup on the INEOS Grenadier and other 4x4s.

A built-in MPPT solar regulator and REDARC's multi-stage charging (including the SoftStart pre-charge stage) deliver a proven full charge to lithium (LiFePO4), AGM, gel, calcium and standard lead-acid batteries, selecting the right profile automatically. The unit is fully sealed and potted to survive under-bonnet heat, dust and vibration.
